In my practice, I seek to visually translate what is intangible in our relationship with places. Whether in natural or urban spaces, I am looking for the points of contact between the external world, which is charged with its issues, complexities and physical or social particularities, and the internal and intimate one, where we absorb what is experienced and felt. My photographic projects usually unfold around a central image that becomes the anchor of my reflection and my visual proposition. I use photography make contact—and interact—with my subjects, in order to draw from experience the raw material from which I construct my series of images. The natural world fascinates me and I look for the echo of a life sheltered from rationality and knowledge, anchored in the affect and open to the unexpected.
